Anna Mors works with both gas and wood firing. Each method introduces distinct variables - controlled heat and atmosphere in gas firing, and the influence of flame, ash, and airflow in wood firing. Subtle shifts in heat and airflow allow material and glaze to respond differently in each process, creating depth, variation, and a sense of movement. The resulting work is defined by material sensitivity and attentive craftsmanship.
