Order & Delivery
After placing your order for our art pieces, you will receive an order confirmation email which confirms the order and contains your order details.

Artworks are shipped to a nearby package shop or delivered directly to your home if that option is selected. If you are not present for home delivery in Denmark, the package will be redirected to the nearest shop.

Please note that shipping costs vary between these methods, and payment is processed upon shipment.
Warranty & Care
In accordance with the Danish Sale of Goods Act, we provide a 24-month warranty on all artworks from the date of purchase. This warranty covers manufacturing defects and structural issues present at the time of delivery.Please note that our warranty does not cover:
- Accidental damage, such as drops, chips, or breakage caused by mishandling.
- Natural variations in color, texture, or shape, which are inherent characteristics of handmade ceramics, glass, and original paintings.
- General wear and tear or damage caused by improper cleaning or placement (e.g., exposure to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures).
Art pieces, especially handmade ceramics and mouth-blown glass, are unique and delicate. Small imperfections or "beauty marks" are part of the artistic expression and are not considered defects. We recommend handling all pieces with care to preserve their value and beauty for years to come.
Shipping

SHIPPING


We ship our art pieces twice a week, which means delivery times may vary. All orders are shipped via GLS to ensure a safe and reliable delivery of our ceramics, glass, and paintings.

For orders within Denmark, you can choose between delivery to your nearest package shop or directly to your home address.

Orders within the EU will be shipped to your nearest package shop, while orders outside the EU will be delivered directly to your home address.

Please note that during busy periods, processing times may be slightly longer, but we always do our best to ship your art as quickly as possible. Orders are processed in the order they are received, and we kindly ask you to be mindful of Danish public holidays.We ship worldwide.

REFUSED DELIVERY/UNCLAIMED PICK UP
A return shipping fee will be deducted from your refund for any refused deliveries or unclaimed packages

CUSTOMS & VAT
You are responsible for any additional expenses (VAT, customs, handling fees, etc.) related to sending or receiving packages from Galleri Sonja, unless otherwise stated on our website or at checkout.

RETURN

You are entitled to a refund within 14 days of receiving your order.
Please note that we do not offer exchanges. If you wish to purchase a different item, such as a different ceramic piece or painting, you must return the original item for a refund and place a new order on our website.
To be eligible for a refund, all art pieces must be returned in their original condition and packaging. If there is evidence of damage or use that reduces the value of the product, we reserve the right to refuse the return or reduce the refund amount.

SAFE PACKAGING & RESPONSIBILITY
Our art pieces, ceramics, and glass are delicate, so it is crucial that you pack your return securely in its original boxing to prevent damage during transit. Please note that Galleri Sonja is not liable for return shipments. The items remain your responsibility until they are physically received at our store. We strongly recommend using a trackable and insured shipping method (such as GLS within Denmark, or DHL/UPS internationally).
We do not accepts DAO or parcel pick-up returns.

REFUNDS
Refunds will only be credited to the original payment method used for the purchase. Please note that return shipping costs, as well as the original delivery expenses, are covered by the customer and are non-refundable. Refunds will be processed as quickly as possible, but no later than 30 business days after we receive and inspect the returned items.

CUSTOMS & FEES
You are responsible for any additional costs (VAT, customs, handling fees, etc.) associated with returning the package. These fees will be deducted from your refund.

Galleri Sonja (House Sonja ApS) cannot be held responsible for any currency fluctuations or exchange rates applied by your bank when converting DKK (Danish Kroner) into any other currency.

At Galleri Sonja (House Sonja ApS), we strive to keep our website fully operational at all times, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.
Additionally, we cannot assure that all art pieces, ceramics, or glass will be available at the time of your order. If an item is no longer in stock, we will notify you via email shortly after your purchase.
Please note that the colors displayed on our website may not be entirely accurate, as this can be influenced by your computer’s color settings and monitor calibration. As many of our pieces are handmade, slight variations in color and texture are part of the artistic nature of the work.Galleri Sonja (House Sonja ApS) is not responsible for any discrepancies in color representation.
Terms of purchase
By placing an order, you confirm that all the information you provide is accurate and true. You must be over 18 years old and an authorized user of the credit or debit card used for the transaction, and ensure that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the goods.Galleri Sonja (House Sonja ApS) uses Shopify Pay to process payments.

We accept the following payment methods:
- Credit cards (Visa/Dankort, Visa/Electron, Maestro, and Mastercard)
- MobilePay
The amount for the transaction will be deducted from your account only when the purchased art piece(s) have been shipped.
Taxes & duties
If you are ordering from an EU country, Danish VAT will apply, but there will be no additional duty due to the free movement of goods. For orders placed from outside the EU, Danish VAT will be deducted at checkout. However, you may be subject to additional taxes and/or duties in the destination country.
Please note that shipping agents often charge a handling fee for customs clearance.We are unable to offer VAT refunds for purchases made at our gallery at Storegade 1, 3770 Allinge-Sandvig, if you are a resident outside the EU.
Galleri Sonja (House Sonja ApS) is not responsible for any duties, taxes, or handling fees that may be applied by customs in the destination country. Any customs duties, foreign taxes, or other fees are the responsibility of the customer. This also applies to returned products. If a return incurs VAT, customs, or handling fees, these costs will be deducted from your refund. For more information on taxes and duties, please contact your local customs office. Be aware that such fees may delay delivery if the goods are held up in customs.
