Roxy Ceramics is founded by Rosanna Julie Svensson on the island of Bornholm where she was born. Drawing on years in fashion and tailoring, her ceramic work is defined by structure, surface work, and consistency. The result is restrained objects with a clear, considered expression. The raw Nordic landscape remains one of her strongest sources of inspiration. The cool, unpretentious simplicity of the Danish nature meets the Japanese wabi-sabi philosophy - the idea that the imperfect, the asymmetrical, and the transient hold a unique kind of beauty.
