Unique ceramic Cake Platter, crafted by Kristine Vedel Adeltoft.

Defined by its individually developed glaze and surface, giving each piece an expression of its own. The glaze reveals shifting nuances in colour and texture, with new details emerging as light moves across the surface.

Each platter is one-of-a-kind and is shown as pictured.

H: 6,5 cm
D: 19 cm

Dimensions are approximate and may vary slightly.

Wash and Care:
Allow each piece to cool completely before cleaning, preserving its form and finish. Wash gently by hand in warm water with a mild, fragrance-free soap. Avoid abrasive materials or harsh detergents, which may compromise the surface. Rinse carefully and dry with a soft linen cloth, or allow to air-dry.

Material: Stoneware

Method: Each piece is wheel-thrown and shaped by hand, where form develops through rotation, pressure, and control. The process allows proportions to shift gradually, guided by the material and the movement of the hand.
All glazes are inspired by the surrounding nature.

Kristine Vedel Adeltoft works from her farm studio in Nørre Alslev
on Falster, where the surrounding nature finds its way into the colours, textures, and surfaces of her ceramics. Glaze development forms an essential part of her process, combining technical knowledge with experimentation in chemistry and local materials. Many of her glazes echo places on Falster, translating the tones, textures, and atmosphere of the landscape into tactile ceramic surfaces.
