Working on reclaimed textiles, the process allows variation in colour density, overlap, and rhythm to remain visible, reflecting both material and making.

Akka Unika creates hand-printed tablecloths on vintage damask using traditional block-printing techniques. Through reflection, layering, and rhythmic repetition, the textiles establish an expression of simplicity, poetry, and quiet complexity.
Each tablecloth is shaped in relation to the format of the individual fabric, and no two are alike.
A practice grounded in tradition, with a focus on use, time, and materiality.
