For the exhibition Percpectives, Atelier Cph has worked with linen fabrics by By Mölle, exploring how natural fibers interact with precise, structural line work- a meeting between two distinct expressions. Through a series of experiments, Atelier Cph balance the organic and the graphic across both sculptural and wall-based pieces, allowing each material to retain its own character while entering into dialogue with the other.
The tactile quality of linen introduces subtle variations, soft irregularities, shifts in tone, and a sense of movement, that disrupt the clarity of the graphic forms, creating a dynamic interplay between control and unpredictability.
Perspectives is an exhibition in collaboration with By Mölle.
About Atelier Cph
Sara Ingemann and Mandy Rep are the women behind the Copenhagen-based design studio Atelier Cph, known for a minimalistic approach and a constant search for textuality and depth. The duo works with materials sourced from secondhand shops, friends, family and nature, aluing pieces that carry a history of their own. For this exhibition Perspectives they have transformed dead stock from Dutch By Mölle.
About By Mölle
Named after the local word for “mill”, By Mölle is rooted in the Dutch countryside of Dalfsen, where the atelier creates made-to-order linen bedding, cushions, and curtains. The nearby mill, where the story first began, continues to shape the brand’s identity.
A symbol of craftsmanship and renewal, the wind-powered mill reflects By Mölle’s enduring connection to nature and a thoughtful approach to making. This commitment to simplicity, longevity, and local production remains at the heart of the studio’s practice.
