Julie Fuhlendorff is educated at the Royal Danish Academy on Bornholm. Clear glass defines her practice. Shaped by hand in the hot shop, her work evolves from familiar everyday forms into objects that feel open and sculptural, marked by a calm sense of introspection.

Drawing on Nordic late twentieth century design, she explores how objects for the table can hold traces of time, use, and presence, inviting a more attentive presence.

Besides blowing glass, Julie works as the manager of Galleri Sonja in Allinge.
