Framed botanical work by Sara Martinsen. Wild grass with intact root systems mounted in a dark oak frame. The exposed roots extend beyond the lower edge of the frame, highlighting the plant in its complete form.

Created for the exhibition Rodfæstet (Rooted) at Galleri Sonja, Bornholm, the work explores the connection between landscape, material, and place through locally harvested plant fibres from the island.
