Framed wall piece by Sara Martinsen. A patchwork composition of handwoven short grass stems, presented in a solid pine wood frame. The layered weave highlights the natural variation in colour, texture, and density of the harvested grasses.

Created for the exhibition Rodfæstet (Rooted) at Galleri Sonja, Bornholm, the work explores the connection between landscape, material, and place through locally harvested plant fibres from the island.
