The Filosof Lamp is handcrafted in Denmark using traditional metal spinning, a cold-forming technique to form metal.

Once a widespread production process, this technique has the last 20-30 years largely been replaced by industrial automation.
Today, only a handful of artisans master the process.

Each shade is shaped manually by skilled craftsmen. A process that requires intuition and years of experience to get the right feeling with the metal, giving every lamp its own unique character.
