Galleri Sonja brings a little piece of Bornholm to Copenhagen this December, with a holiday shop at Wilders Plads in the heart of Christianshavn.

For a limited time, the space is filled with contemporary craft, art and design, objects made by hand and made for giving. Alongside ceramics, glass, textiles and sculptural objects, you’ll find small Japanese finds, unique gifts and pieces for the home.

Works by Danish and international artists and makers include Anna Mors, Anne Mette Hjortshøj, Anne Touborg,  Bertel Bjerre, Tue Gram, Line Depping, STRAFT and Mette Skjærbæk, among others. Rooted in craftsmanship and a thoughtful exploration of materials, each piece brings its own character to everyday rituals.

At Wilders Plads, we are also proud to present three new additions to the Galleri Sonja collection: the Bloom Cup by Oh Oak and our two sculptural candle holders, Sonja Sconce I and Sonja Sconce IV, designed by Asta Wiherheimo and Agnes Bjørn Elley of Bjørn + Wiherheimo.

Every day, you can stop for gløgg and honey cakes from the award-winning Siemsens Gaard (formerly Hjørnet) in Svaneke.
